#VisitJakartaDay: Ahok supporters invite today’s out-of-town guests to enjoy how nice the capital has become (under Ahok)

As you may be aware, many of the thousands of protesters joining today’s massive protest against Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama have come from outside of the capital to demand the immediate arrest of our city’s leader.

You might think that supporters of Governor Ahok might be bothered by this, but instead they have taken to Twitter to warmly greet our out-of-town guests and show them how nice Jakarta has become (specifically thanks to the hard work of Ahok and his administration) by trending the hashtag #VisitJakartaDay on Twitter. Here are a few examples:

Danau Sunter, which is beautiful because the people support Ahok in making Jakarta better

I say welcome to my brothers and sister from outside Jakarta, Enjoy the capital, and those that have a Jakarta ID don’t forget to vote for Ahok ya” (The photo shows one of the many integrated parks recently built under Ahok’s administration)

The Ciliwung river used to be full of trash. Now as a result of Ahok’s work you can go rafting on the Ciliwung.

Diponegoro Park during the time of Ahok and Djarot. Awesome ya?

Transjakarta buses ready to serve you. Ahok’s work.

Walking to Monas for the prayer event is definitely nicer on sidewalks like this.

This bus stop for the disabled was built because of Ahok’s love of Jakarta.
