Even if you’re a huge fan of house music, you may not know the name Robbert van de Corput. But if you’ve been to a club anytime in the last five years, you’ve almost certainly heard his music.
That’s because Robbert is the real name of Hardwell, who has topped DJ Magazine’s annual list of the Top 100 DJs in the world for two consecutive years (in 2013 and 2014). Hardwell is, without a doubt, one of the greatest house DJs and EDM artists performing today. And he’s returning to Jakarta for a massive show on April 2 at Carnaval Beach Ancol.
The Dutch native has been producing music for years, but first gained international attention for his bootyshakable 2009 bootleg of “Show Me Love vs. Be”.
Soon after he founded his own record label (Revealed Recordings) and quickly rose to the top in the ultra-competitive world of house music. He’s known for his amazing live sets at major music festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra and video streams of his performances on his YouTube channel have garnered more than 100 million views.
Hardwell came to Jakarta in 2013 for a legendary concert that many EDM fans still remember as being one of the highlights of that year.
Now Hardwell is teaming up with Ismaya once again to make his Jakarta stop on the “I Am Hardwell – United We Are” tour even bigger and crazier than the last one. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us!
