Is English indie rock legend Morrissey making his way to Jakarta again in a few months? There are rumours that Mozza is currently in final negotiations for a tour that will take him through Asia with a potential stop in the Indonesian capital.
The news which came from Morrissey fanzine True To You, has been shared on several Morrissey fan forums and on Twitter.
Although many might question the legitimacy of such a rumor, given Jakarta’s poor track record of attracting international musical acts, remember that Morrissey did come to the Indonesian capital in 2012 and performed for thousands of his fans at Tennis Indoor Senayan.
According to True to You’s post, Morrissey’s tour will happen in April and also include dates in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur as well as many more.
There has not yet been any official announcement from any promoters, including Rockstar Touring or Indika Productions (who presented Morrissey’s 2012 tour) but we’ll keep you updated if we get any confirmation.
