#KamiTidakTakut: Indonesian netizens declare they are not afraid in wake of Sarinah attacks

While we still don’t have any confirmation on who was behind the deadly explosions and gunfire near the Sarinah building on Jalan MH Thamrin this morning, it seems many Indonesians are already suspecting that it was the work of terrorists.

The hashtag #KamiTidakTakut (We’re not afraid) is now trending in Indonesia as Twitter users rally to denounce the the attacks and show they are not intimidated by any possible terrorists.

Even though it may still be too early to blame any specific groups for the attack, it’s inspiring to see Jakartans unite against those who want to hurt us, even if it’s in the form of something as simple as a symbolic hashtag.
