The Transjakarta bus that caught on fire on Jalan Gatot Subroto in March of this year.

Yesterday, we heard about a Transjakarta bus that caught on fire in Senen, Central Jakarta. This morning, another Transjakarta bus caught on fire in Kampung Melayu, East Jakarta.

The incident was reported on the Jakarta’s Traffic Management Center’s Twitter account this morning:

Because of the Busway (Transjakarta bus) that caught on fire on Jl Jatinegara Barat, traffic from Kampung Melayu to Matraman is crowded.

As of yet, there are no reports about any casualties or what caused the fire.

This is the third time this year that a Transjakarta bus has caught on fire. In 2014, there were two separate incidents in which two Tranjakarta buses combusted.
