Because Batman’s a silent guardian, a watchful protector, and he totally photobombed President Joko Widodo’s photo session

We know the Dark Knight is nocturnal, but it seems ‘Batman’ couldn’t resist appearing in broad daylight to photobomb President Joko Widodo’s first official photo with his 34 ministers.

Check out the photograph, with Jokowi and his cabinet ministers looking dashing in their batik:

But hold on, what the Gotham is that on the left?

Holy photobomb, Batman! Is that… the caped crusader tiptoeing away from the scene?

We can, without a doubt, conclude that Batman photobombed this historic photograph, with the pointy ears and flowing cape being definite proof. What’s that? Are we hearing a lot of you screaming ‘Photoshop’? Nope. The photo is definitely untouched.

So what exactly does Batman have to do with our government? Well, we can theorise that, since Jokowi is setting up the ominously sounding “Shadow Leadership” at the DPR, this brooding superhero probably fits the leadership bill.

But, in all seriousness, it was probably just a statue. But excuse us for having quite the imagina-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-Batman!
