Indonesian entertainer Julia Perez has some tremendous assets, including a highly successful dangdut and acting career as well as a fried chicken fast food chain. Goal-oriented Jupe recently set her sights on having a baby, but in her typically controversial style, announced she would get pregnant via sperm donation.
Jupe received quite a bit of criticism for her plan, which is something she is used to. However, there’s one critic she can’t ignore – her mother, who expressed strong disapproval of her daughter having a baby with a man who wasn’t her husband.
So Jupe has found a solution to the dilemma. “I don’t want to be disrespectful, so I will do as she wishes and marry my future sperm donor. Love comes later, that’s the important thing.” Jupe said yesterday at Plaza Senayan, as reported in Tribunnews.
Because of that, Jupe will be taking her time selecting the man that will act as her sperm donor.
“Of course, I’ll be choosy because I don’t want to beli kucing dalam karung [buy a cat in a sack]. I want my child to be healthy.” She also wants to help make sure her baby is smart by getting a donor with a high IQ.
Jupe is determined to have her baby, her way, no matter what. “There are many things that I can do if my initial plans don’t work out,” she said.
