Friday, Oct. 10
Pierre-Alexandre Busson, aka Yuksek, is an acclaim French EDM producer, remixer and DJ (Yüksek means “high” in Turkish). His funky repetoire includes elements of electropop, French house and nu-disco, perfect for some crazy dancing under the near-full moon at Skye.

X2 Grand Reopening Party feat. Bingo Player
Bingo Players is Maarten Hoogstraten, a Dutch dance and electro house DJ and record producer. The reasons its Bingo Players (plural) is because it was originally a duo including Paul Bäumer. Bäumer died last year after a battle with cancer, but Maarten decided to keep the Players name alive.
They are best known for their hit songs “Cry (Just a Little)” and “Rattle”. “Cry (Just a Little),” which you’ve almost certainly heard before, was a Top 40 hit in the Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, and other parts of Europe and Australia. You’ll definitely be hearing a remix of it at some point during what is sure to be a packed out grand reopening fete for the renovated X2.

TUNE IN – The Return of Goodnws at Soupanova Ecosky
After a long absence, the Goodnws crew is back to party with some of the eclectic underground sounds you’ll find in the big J. Modern soul, funk, jazz, hip-hop, beats, bass, house, drum and bass, it’s all here.
Fronting four decks, live instrumentation and a jazz singer for this special night at this newish Soupanova Ecosky, a cool rooftop Berlin-style bar.

Abducted X Ginger Shinobi at Tapas Movidas
Tapas Movidas in Cipete does killer Spanish food but it occasionally turns into a hot underground party spot. Case in point, this Sat sees Movidas move to the beats of Guy Cross, aka Ginger Shinobi, a London DJ residing in Indonesia. This party is in honor of the launch of his “You Are” single by Rocstar Records UK.
This shindig is a Homegrounds joint and they always throw the hippest underground dance parties, so head here if you wanna feel cool and in-the-know.

“Burlesque – Revolution Two” – Prive 2nd Anniversary
Prive is turning 2 this weekend and this will be the 2nd night of their celebration The rooftop club at the top of fX mall doesn’t always bring in a crowd, but this event is sure to be lively. We’re not sure how faithful they’ll be to the burlesque theme, but the poster does promise a model performance by LV C&C. DJs Al Ghazali, Ikmal Tobing, Lady B and Edwin will be on deck spinning duties.

Light Run at Pantai Carnaval Ancol
Looking to really get a sweat on while you party this weekend? You can head up north to take part in the Light Run along Pantai Carnava Ancol. This 5k fun run will feature wild light shows and top local DJs including Robby Yurba and DJ Yasmin, as well as a performance by alt rock heroes Agrikulture.
