News is spreading that Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, will touch down in Jakarta in the coming days.
Sources close to Facebook told Kompas Tekno that Zuckerberg has Jakarta next in his itinerary after the Internet.org Summit in New Delhi, India, on October 9.
“Yes, Mark Zuckerberg himself will come to Jakarta,” said the source to Kompas Tekno on Friday.
In all likelihood, Zuckerberg will attend the Internet.org Developer Workshop in Jakarta on Monday.
Internet.org is a Facebook-initiated project with the goal of connecting everyone on Earth to the Internet. They aim to make Internet available to two-thirds of the world’s population that still do not have Internet access.
